My Blogging Setup
My blogging setup is fairly simple as I have always been a mobile device blogger. I think pretty much every blog post I've written has been written on either an iPhone or iPad. I'm currently using an iPhone 14 Pro and/or my 8th gen iPad with a Logitech Keys To Go 2 keyboard. As far as writing apps, Drafts has always been my go to app of choice. I've always preferred Drafts because of its actions capability. I've previously hosted this blog on Blot.im and had Drafts actions that would run a Shortcut to upload a photo to a folder in Dropbox, copy the name of the uploaded image, and paste a pre-formatted markdown link to that image at wherever the cursor was. I also had actions that would then upload the text from Drafts straight to Dropbox and thus publishing a new blog post. These actions would run on either my iPhone or iPad, so I could publish from either device. Now that I'm using Bear for my blog, I plan to continue writing in Drafts in markdown and then copy and paste text to Bear to publish.
